Basic Life Support (BLS)
Few things are as important in life than the ability to respond to an emergency and offer help to someone undergoing a cardiac crisis. That’s exactly what Superior’s Basic Life Support Program is designed to give you. Whether you’re looking to simply equip yourself with these skills for personal reasons, or gaining a credential to satisfy an employer’s CPR or first aid requirement, this program will offer you the highest quality of basic CPR training.
These BLS programs are typically 3-4 hours in length. The BLS course at Superior is held on Fridays, beginning at 10 a.m. The program covers the American Heart Association Guidelines ECC2015. You’ll gain valuable hands-on training using an automated external defibrillator and other devices used in a cardiac arrest scenario. The BLS program cost is $60, which includes the required textbook. Contact us to find out upcoming dates that the program will be offered, and to register. You must register for this program ahead of time in order to attend.
When you complete this program, you’ll have gained the ability to identify a variety of life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, and relieve choking in a way that is effective and safe. This program also provides the American Heart Association credential satisfying employer’s CPR requirement.
